On the Issues:
Economy: Lists four goals for tax reform: Tax relief for middle class Americans, simplify the tax code, grow the American economy and not adding to our debt and deficit. Wants to eliminate the death tax and keep businesses from having to pay more than 15% of their business income in taxes. Anyone making less than $25,000 would not have to pay income tax.
Healthcare: Wants to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a free-market plan. Supports Social Security and Medicaid. Believes one of top priorities should be Veterans healthcare. According to his campaign site, he wants to increase funding for PTSD, TBI, and suicide prevention for veterans, better support female veterans, and embed satellite VA clinics in rural and other underserved areas.
Immigration: Wants to build a wall on the Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it. Wants to triple the number of ICE officers, enhance penalties for overstaying visas and end birthright citizenship. Does not want U.S. prisons having illegal immigrants; instead wants them deported. “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists.”
Foreign Policy: Wants more sanctions on Iran and more support for Israel, calling for a closer alliance with Netanyahu. Opposes costly interventions in the Middle East and calls the wars in Iraq, Libya and Afghanistan mistakes. “Let Russia take care of ISIS. How many places can we be?” he said in an interview.
Education: Calls the Common Core a “disaster.” In favor of cutting down the Department of Education. “Education has to be local.”
Environment: Wants to cut funding for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Believes the Keystone XL pipeline would have no effect on the environment.
If I am elected President I will immediately approve the Keystone XL pipeline. No impact on environment & lots of jobs for U.S.

Abortion: Pro-life, despite a history of being pro-choice. Says he changed his views after hearing personal stories. Believes that Planned Parenthood should be defunded, calling it “an abortion factory.”
Gay Marriage: Does not support same-sex marriage. Criticized the Supreme Court ruling, believing that it should be left up to the states to decide.
Drugs: Opposes legalizing recreational marijuana but supports the use of medical marijuana.
Supporter: “This may be what the country needs and Trump…he’s a guy who won’t put up with B.S. and has what it takes to change how government is run.”- Terrell Owens, retired NFL wide receiver. (TMZ Sports)
Opponent: “The things that he’s been saying about black people, Latino people, immigrants, refugees- it’s disrespectful.”- Mercutio Southall, Black Lives Matter activist, courtesy of ThinkProgress.com
